TP-Link VIGI C440I 4MM beveiligingscamera turret IP-camera binnen 2560 x 1440 pixel plafond

The TP-Link VIGI C440I 4MM is an indoor turret IP security camera with 4MP (2560 x 1440) resolution, a fixed 4 mm lens and a CMOS sensor. Designed for ceiling mounting and wired Ethernet connectivity, this white camera provides clear images in low light (minimum illumination 0.1 lx) and covers a wide field of view (horizontal 75.1°, vertical 41.5°) for monitoring enclosed indoor spaces.

Advantages

The camera delivers higher resolution video (4MP) for improved detail capture while using efficient compression to reduce bandwidth and storage needs. Built-in AI supports human and vehicle classification and multiple smart detection types (line crossing, intrusion, object removal/abandoned, tampering). Image-enhancing technologies such as Smart IR, WDR, 3D DNR and Night Vision improve image clarity in challenging lighting. Corridor Mode and two lens options (2.8 mm or 4 mm) increase installation flexibility, and dual power options (PoE or 12V DC) simplify wiring.

Suitable for

• Indoor ceiling surveillance in stores, offices, corridors and elevators
• Monitoring entrances, small rooms and service areas
• Areas requiring human and vehicle classification and event notifications

Key specifications

• Resolution: 4MP (2560 x 1440)
• Lens: fixed 4 mm (also available in 2.8 mm version)
• Sensor: CMOS
• Frame rate: up to 30 fps
• Minimum illumination: 0.1 lx
• Horizontal/Vertical FOV: 75.1° / 41.5°
• Connectivity: wired Ethernet (no Wi‑Fi)
• Power: PoE or 12V DC
• Mounting: ceiling
• Color: white

How to use

Mount the turret camera on the ceiling and route the cable through the side outlet or dropped ceiling as required. Connect the camera to a PoE switch or a 12V DC power supply and to your network via Ethernet. Configure the device using the web UI, NVR interface, VIGI app or VIGI Security Manager. Adjust viewing angle and, if needed, enable Corridor Mode for monitoring narrow vertical scenes. Set up detection rules and notifications for human/vehicle classification and other smart events.

Recommendations

Install the camera at an appropriate height to optimize the 4 mm lens field of view; use PoE for simplified cabling when available and choose the 2.8 mm lens variant if a wider angle is required for small or enclosed spaces.
