Toetskapjesset Triton TIGER SKETCH Limited — PBT-materiaal, Duitse layout (DE)

The Triton TIGER SKETCH Limited keycap set is a PBT replacement collection crafted for mechanical keyboards with a German (DE) layout. This limited kit provides sculpted keycaps in a Cherry-profile compatible shape, made from durable PBT to resist shine and surface wear over extended use. The set is intended for common MX-style switches and for users who want to customize the feel and appearance of their desktop keyboard while maintaining standard key spacing and mounting compatibility.

Advantages

The PBT construction offers increased durability and lower shine compared to typical ABS keycaps, helping preserve texture and legibility during prolonged use. Sculpted Cherry-profile keycaps provide a familiar ergonomic contour across rows to promote consistent finger positioning. The German layout ensures correct legends and key placement for DE keyboards, enabling straightforward replacement without remapping or physical modification. Compatibility with MX-style switches supports easy installation on most mechanical keyboards that accept standard Cherry-profile keycaps.

Suitable for

• Customizing desktop mechanical keyboards with German (DE) layout
• Replacing worn or shiny stock keycaps with durable PBT caps
• Users who prefer sculpted Cherry-profile key shapes for typing comfort
• Keycap upgrades on MX-style switch keyboards

Key specifications

• Material: PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) for improved wear resistance
• Profile: Sculpted Cherry-profile compatible
• Layout: German (DE) key legends and arrangement
• Compatibility: Designed for MX-style mechanical switches and standard Cherry-profile mounts
• Finish: Matte surface to reduce shine and fingerprint visibility

How to use

Turn off and unplug the keyboard before replacing keycaps. Use a keycap puller to remove existing caps by gently pulling straight up to avoid switch damage. Align each Triton TIGER SKETCH Limited keycap over the corresponding MX-style switch stem and press down until it seats fully. For larger stabilized keys (such as spacebar, Enter, Shift), ensure the stabilizers are correctly positioned and engage the cap evenly to prevent wobble. After installation, plug in the keyboard and test each key to confirm proper fit and function.

Recommendations

To maintain appearance and longevity, clean the keycaps periodically with a soft brush or damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals. If removing multiple keycaps for deep cleaning, document the original key positions or take a photo to simplify reassembly. Use compatible stabilizer lubrication and correct mounting procedures for the best typing feel on larger keys.
