Slank patchkabel slank Light STP netwerkkabel wit 0,25 m Cat6 U/FTP

The SLIM Patchcords SLIM Light STP networking cable is a compact Cat6 patch cable with a 0.25 m length and a narrow diameter designed for tidy installations. The unshielded (U/FTP) variant has an approximate diameter of 2.8 mm similar to slim fibre patchcords, while the shielded F/FTP construction measures just under 4 mm. The cable supports Gigabit Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) and comes with RJ‑45 connectors featuring gold plating for reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance.

Advantages

The slim round design reduces cable bulk and improves routing in confined spaces while maintaining Category 6 performance up to 1000 Mbit/s. The shielded version (F/FTP) provides additional protection against electromagnetic interference, and gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts ensure stable connections and longer contact life. The white jacket offers a neutral appearance for professional installations.

Suitable for

• Desktop and rack connections where space is limited
• Gigabit Ethernet networks
• PoE-powered devices such as IP phones and access points
• Structured cabling requiring a low-profile patchcord

How to use

Connect one end of the SLIM Light STP patchcord to the RJ‑45 port of your network device (switch, router, patch panel or endpoint) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. For shielded variants, confirm that the patch panel or outlet provides a proper shield termination to maintain the cable's EMI protection. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight pulls to preserve cable integrity.

Recommendations

Use the thin unshielded version for low-profile desktop and short lateral runs; choose the F/FTP shielded variant when installations are near potential EMI sources or in environments requiring improved noise immunity. Keep cable bends above the manufacturer's minimum bend radius and do not exceed recommended pull tensions.
