Trust Calyx USB Type-C USB Type-A grijs aansluiting 1 USB Type-C aansluiting 2 USB Type-A

The Calyx USB-A to USB-C adapter 2 pack converts a standard USB-A port into a USB-C port, enabling connection of USB-C devices to older USB-A ports. The compact grey adapters let you transfer files, access external storage and use USB-C peripherals with devices that only have USB-A sockets. Each adapter features a USB Type-C connector on one end and a USB Type-A connector on the other, and the set includes two identical adapters.

Advantages

These Calyx adapters provide a simple, plug-and-play solution to bridge USB-A and USB-C interfaces without requiring drivers. Their small size and low weight make them easy to carry in a laptop bag or pocket. The neutral grey design matches most devices and cables, and the two-piece pack gives a spare adapter for home or travel.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB-C phones or tablets to a computer with USB-A ports
• Accessing external USB-C storage from USB-A laptops or desktops
• Using USB-C peripherals (keyboards, mice, dongles) with USB-A only devices

How to use

Insert the adapter’s USB Type-A male plug into the host device’s USB-A port, then connect the USB-C cable or device to the adapter’s USB Type-C receptacle. The adapter is passive and requires no installation; the connected device will use the host’s USB port for data transfer or power according to the capabilities of both devices and cables.

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality USB cables and ensure both host and peripheral support the required data transfer speeds and charging parameters. Note that performance (data rate and charging current) depends on the specifications of the original ports and cables; the adapter itself is a passive connector and does not increase port capabilities.
