Tube voor computer-waterkoelingssysteem Alphacool 18443 — acryl, Ø 16 mm, lengte 60 cm, schroefdraad Ø 13 mm, transparant

Alphacool acrylic tube 18443 is a transparent rigid tube designed for custom PC water-cooling loops. With an outer diameter of 16 mm, a thread-compatible diameter of 13 mm and a length of 60 cm, this tube provides a clear conduit for coolant and visual monitoring of flow and fluid condition. The acrylic material offers rigidity and optical clarity suitable for visible loop builds and straightforward cutting and fitting during system assembly.

Advantages

The acrylic construction delivers high transparency for easy inspection of coolant color and particulate matter while maintaining a stiff shape that resists kinking without additional supports. Precise external diameter and threaded interface compatibility simplify connection to standard compression fittings and adapters. The 60 cm length reduces the number of joints in many layouts, improving leak risk management and flow stability. Its smooth inner surface helps limit flow resistance and buildup over time.

Suitable for

• Custom PC water-cooling loops with rigid tubing
• Visible reservoir-to-component runs requiring transparent tubing
• Builds using compression fittings or adapters matching Ø16 mm outer and Ø13 mm thread dimensions
• Prototype or test benches where visual inspection of coolant is needed

Key specifications

• Material: acrylic (rigid, transparent)
• Outer diameter: 16 mm
• Thread-compatible diameter: 13 mm
• Length: 60 cm
• Color: transparent/clear
• Inner surface: smooth for reduced flow resistance

How to use

Measure and mark the tube to the required length, then cut cleanly with an appropriate tube cutter or fine-toothed saw to avoid chipping. Deburr and polish cut edges if necessary to ensure a proper seal with fittings. Fit the tube into compatible compression fittings or threaded adapters that match the specified diameters, ensuring an even seating and tightening according to the fitting manufacturer's instructions. Flush the system and perform a leak test before full operation.

Recommendations

Use compatible fittings rated for rigid acrylic tubing and avoid overtightening to prevent cracking. When routing, support long runs to minimize stress on joints. Avoid strong solvents that may cloud or damage acrylic; use coolants and cleaning agents specified for acrylic tubing. Periodically inspect for scratches or discoloration and replace the tube if structural integrity is compromised.
