Turret IP-camera Hikvision DS-2CD3343G2-ISU 4MP, 2,8mm lens, slimme functies, IR-verlichting

Hikvision DS-2CD3343G2-ISU is a turret-style 4MP IP camera with a fixed 2.8mm lens, designed for reliable video surveillance in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. The camera captures high-resolution footage suitable for monitoring entrances, corridors and small exterior areas. Integrated Smart features enable event detection for motion and configurable alarm triggers, while built-in infrared illumination supports clear imaging in low-light and night conditions.

Advantages

The camera offers 4MP resolution for detailed video, a compact turret form factor that simplifies installation, and a 2.8mm fixed lens that provides a wide field of view for general monitoring. Smart detection capabilities reduce false alarms by identifying relevant events, and the IR illumination improves visibility in darkness without additional lighting. Designed for reliability, the device supports continuous recording and remote viewing through standard IP network integration.

Suitable for

• Monitoring building entrances and lobbies
• Surveillance of corridors, stairwells and common areas
• Observation of small outdoor spaces under shelter, such as porches or loading bays
• Integration into IP-based security systems for remote monitoring

Key specifications

• Image sensor resolution: 4 megapixels
• Fixed lens focal length: 2.8 mm for a wide-angle view
• Form factor: turret-style housing suitable for wall or ceiling mounting
• Smart features: event and motion detection with configurable alarm rules
• IR illumination: built-in LEDs for low-light and night visibility

How to use

Mount the turret camera on a stable wall or ceiling surface according to the installation height and viewing angle required. Connect the device to your IP network and provide power using the supported method. Use the camera's web interface or compatible network video recorder (NVR) software to configure resolution, frame rate and Smart detection parameters. Adjust IR settings and exposure for optimal night-time image quality. Test alarm rules and notification settings after configuration to ensure reliable event reporting.

Recommendations

For best results, install the camera under a protective overhang when used outdoors to reduce exposure to weather, position it at a height that balances coverage and detail, and calibrate Smart detection sensitivity to the specific scene to minimise false alerts. Regularly verify firmware updates and backup configuration to maintain security and performance.
