Why choose it

The G6 Mini Dome combines high-resolution imaging with intelligent event detection, allowing you to receive alerts only when a person or vehicle is detected – no more false alarms from moving shadows or pets. Its compact, vandal-resistant design ensures reliable operation in high-traffic areas, while the PoE connectivity simplifies cabling and keeps installation neat. With support for H.265 compression, you can store more footage without sacrificing quality, and the UniFi Protect app gives you remote access from anywhere.

Ideal use cases

• Monitoring entrances and lobbies in offices or retail stores
• Keeping an eye on cash registers or service counters
• Enhancing security in hallways, stairwells, and break rooms
• Recording customer interactions for training or dispute resolution

Good to know

The camera is designed for indoor use only, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 40°C. It supports digital zoom for closer inspection of details and can be mounted on walls, ceilings, or poles using the included hardware. The built-in microphone captures audio, but note that there is no speaker for two-way talk. For best results, pair it with a UniFi Protect Network Video Recorder or Cloud Key Gen2 Plus.
