Ubiquiti InfiniBand glasvezelkabel UACC-OFC-SA-MPMP-5M 5m OS2 geel

Ubiquiti InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable UACC-OFC-SA-MPMP-5M is a 5 m indoor OS2 single-mode patch cable with MPO-12 Type B APC connectors, engineered for 100G applications and high-speed data transmission. The yellow jacket provides clear visual identification in structured cabling environments and data centers.

Advantages

The cable supports single-mode OS2 performance for long-reach, low-loss connections and is terminated with MPO-12 Type B APC connectors to ensure proper polarization for parallel 100G links. A 5-meter length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections inside technical rooms. The bright yellow color aids cable management and quick identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• 100G InfiniBand and parallel optics links
• Data center interconnects and rack-to-rack cabling
• High-density MPO patching panels and breakout applications
• Environments requiring single-mode OS2 fiber standards

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Fiber type: OS2 single-mode
• Connector type: MPO-12 Type B APC
• Color: Yellow
• Designed for: 100G applications
• Brand: Ubiquiti; MPN: UACC-OFC-SA-MPMP-5M

How to use

Route the cable inside racks or cable trays, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges to prevent damage to the single-mode fiber. Plug MPO-12 Type B APC connectors into matching MPO ports ensuring correct keying and polarization for parallel 100G links. Secure excess length to prevent strain and verify connections with appropriate optical test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Handle connectors with care and keep protective caps on when not in use. Follow industry best practices for fiber installation: maintain minimum bend radius, use proper cable management, and perform optical loss testing after termination to confirm link performance.
