Ubiquiti UACC-AOC-SFP28-30M InfiniBand/glasvezelkabel 30m SFP28

The Ubiquiti UACC-AOC-SFP28-30M is an ultra-thin 30-meter active optical cable with SFP28 connectors designed for 25 Gbps links. It integrates two SFP28 optical transceivers and supports high-speed InfiniBand/fibre optic connectivity for short to medium distance links between network switches, servers or racks. The cable’s aqua color helps with visual identification in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers sustained 25 Gbps throughput using integrated SFP28 transceivers, while its slim construction simplifies routing in constrained spaces. As a factory-assembled AOC it eliminates the need for separate transceiver purchases and supports reliable, low-latency connections suitable for data center and high-performance networking setups.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between network switches and top-of-rack switches
• Server-to-switch connections in data centers
• High-speed links in storage and compute clusters using InfiniBand or 25 Gbps Ethernet
• Short to medium distance cabling within racks and between adjacent racks

How to use

Install the UACC-AOC-SFP28-30M by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your switches or servers until the latch engages. Ensure both ends are seated securely and powered devices are configured for 25 Gbps operation. No separate transceivers or patch panels are required; the cable is ready to use as a direct-attach link.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for short- to medium-range 25 Gbps links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and protect the cable from physical damage. Verify compatibility with your switch/host SFP28 ports and confirm firmware or port settings if link training is required.
