Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Beast – 25 Gbps IPS/IDS, 7500+ clients, 1U rackmount cloud gateway

The Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Beast (UDM-Beast) is a high-performance all-in-one cloud gateway designed for large-scale networks. With 25 Gbps routing and IPS/IDS throughput, it supports over 7,500 concurrent clients, making it ideal for enterprise, campus, and service provider environments. The 1U rack-mountable form factor integrates a powerful quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 processor, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, and 128 GB eMMC storage, along with a dedicated HDD bay for UniFi Protect video recording. It features 10G SFP+ WAN and LAN ports, eight 2.5 GbE RJ45 LAN ports, and a 1.3-inch LCM color touchscreen for at-a-glance monitoring. Powered by the UniFi Network application, it provides advanced security features including stateful firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN, and VLAN support.

Advantages

Unmatched throughput of 25 Gbps for both routing and IPS/IDS ensures zero-compromise performance even under heavy loads. Scalable to support over 7,500 clients, making it future-proof for growing networks. Integrated UniFi applications (Network, Protect, Access, Talk) eliminate the need for separate controllers. Redundant power input via USP-RPS enhances reliability. The 1U rackmount design fits seamlessly into standard server racks.
