UGREEN Cat6 FTP ethernet-patchkabel, RJ45-metaalstekker, 5m zwart

Most Ethernet cables hide their weaknesses behind plastic shells, but this UGREEN Cat6 FTP cable puts its advantages on display: a metal-shielded RJ45 connector that resists wear and interference, plus a foil-wrapped core that keeps 10 Gbps signals clean even in electrically noisy rooms. It is built for users who need a dependable 5-metre link between a PC, router, switch, or NAS without the bulk or fragility of typical patch leads.

Highlights

• Cat6 performance with FTP shielding: foil around each twisted pair reduces crosstalk and external EMI, sustaining up to 10 Gbps over short runs.
• Metal-shelled RJ45 plugs with gold-plated contacts: better durability and corrosion resistance than all-plastic connectors, ideal for frequent re-plugging.
• Oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors, 26 AWG: lower resistance and stronger signal integrity than copper-clad aluminium alternatives.
• Snagless boot design: protects the locking tab from accidental breaks when pulling the cable through cable trays or behind furniture.
• Backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 networks; meets TIA/EIA-568-C.2 standards.

In daily use

The 5-metre length gives you freedom to route the cable along walls, under desks, or between adjacent rooms without excess slack. The black PVC jacket is flexible yet tough enough for regular handling, while the metal connector bodies provide a reassuring click into every port. Because the shielding is grounded through the metal shell, the cable is especially useful near power lines, fluorescent lights, or other sources of interference.
