Uninterruptible power supply Unit UL1200TB-AVG2 1200VA tower, rood

Unit UL1200TB-AVG2 is a 1200VA uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in a tower enclosure finished in red. It delivers battery-backed AC output and basic surge protection to maintain power to connected devices during short outages and to help stabilize supply during voltage fluctuations. Designed for small office and home environments, this UPS supports orderly shutdowns and temporary operation of equipment such as routers, desktop PCs, network attached storage and peripheral devices.

Advantages

The UPS provides 1200VA of conditioned power with automatic voltage regulation to reduce the impact of brownouts and overvoltages. Its tower form factor and red finish make it suitable for placement on or under desks without special mounting. Battery-backed outlets ensure continuity long enough for safe system shutdowns or brief runtime, while built-in surge protection helps reduce the risk of damage from transient spikes. The unit is compact and intended for straightforward plug-and-play installation.

Suitable for

• Home office setups: desktop PC, monitor and network equipment
• Small business and SOHO environments: routers, switches and NAS
• Workstation protection: allowing safe shutdown of computers and storage
• Peripheral protection: printers, external drives and modems

Key specifications

• Output capacity: 1200 VA
• Form factor: tower
• Output type: battery-backed AC outlets with surge protection
• Color: red finish
• Function: provides short-term backup power and voltage regulation

How to use

Place the UPS on a stable, well-ventilated surface away from direct heat or moisture. Connect critical devices to the battery-backed outlets and non-critical peripherals (if applicable) to surge-only outlets. Plug the UPS into a grounded AC wall outlet and allow the internal battery to charge for the manufacturer-recommended initial period before relying on full runtime. During a power interruption the unit will automatically switch to battery power; monitor connected equipment and perform an orderly shutdown if runtime becomes limited.

Recommendations

For reliable protection, test the UPS periodically by simulating a power outage and verify that connected devices run on battery power and shut down safely. Replace the internal battery according to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule or when runtime degrades noticeably. Keep firmware or monitoring software updated if provided, and avoid connecting high-current appliances that exceed the unit's rated capacity.
