UNITEK Cat.6 STP RJ45 verlengkabel (8P8C) stekker naar bus, 2m, zwart

When your network device sits just out of reach of the wall port, this UNITEK Cat.6 STP extension cable bridges the gap without signal loss. Plug the shielded RJ45 male end into a router, switch, or patch panel, then connect any standard Ethernet cable to the female coupler to gain an extra 2 meters of reliable Gigabit connectivity. Ideal for offices, server rooms, or home setups where repositioning equipment is not an option.

Why choose it

This extension cable preserves the full performance of your Cat.6 network thanks to its shielded twisted-pair construction and gold-plated contacts. The male-to-female design lets you extend an existing cable run without introducing a bulky coupler, and the pure copper conductors ensure minimal resistance for stable high-speed data transfer. Backward compatible with Cat.5e and Cat.5, it works seamlessly with older equipment while future-proofing your setup.

Ideal use cases

• Extending a connection from a wall outlet to a desktop PC or workstation
• Adding reach to a router or switch in a server cabinet
• Connecting a smart TV or game console that is slightly too far from the Ethernet port
• Temporary network setups for events or testing where flexibility is key

Good to know

The cable's STP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference, ensuring clean signals even in cable-dense environments. The gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and maintain reliable contact over many plug cycles. With a slim, flexible PVC jacket, it routes easily along baseboards or behind furniture.
