Unmanaged switch Digitus DN-80202-1 5-poorts Gigabit

The Unmanaged Switch Digitus DN-80202-1 5 Port Gigabit provides quick, tool-free expansion of a wired network with five Gigabit Ethernet ports. The compact, fanless metal housing operates silently and requires no configuration: each port automatically detects cable type and link speed, and supports full-duplex flow control and Energy-Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az).

Advantages

This 5-port Gigabit switch offers plug-and-play operation, auto MDI/MDIX and auto-negotiation on all ports, and a switching capacity of 10 Gbit/s. Its fanless design eliminates noise, the sturdy metal case improves durability, and compliance with IEEE standards ensures compatibility with common network equipment.

Suitable for

• Home networks
• Small office setups
• Desktop placement where silent operation is required
• Expanding LAN connectivity for additional wired devices

How to use

Place the switch on a stable desktop surface and connect the included power adapter to the 5 V DC input. Plug Ethernet cables from your router, modem or other network devices into the RJ-45 ports. Ports automatically detect link speed and MDI/MDIX, so no configuration or software is required. Connect computers, printers or NAS devices to the remaining ports to expand your wired network.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure adequate ventilation around the metal housing despite the fanless design, use shielded CAT5e or CAT6 cables for Gigabit performance, and place the switch away from large heat sources and moisture.
