USB A-B-kabel Sharkoon 2,0 m, USB 2.0, aluminium gevlochten mantel, zwart/blauw

Sharkoon USB A–B Cable, 2.0 m, is a USB 2.0-compliant data cable designed for wired connections between computers and peripheral devices. The cable provides standard USB A and B connectors to interface with printers, scanners, external hard drives, audio interfaces and other devices using the USB B port. An aluminum braided jacket increases abrasion resistance and mechanical durability while the black-and-blue design offers a practical, identifiable appearance for desktop and workshop environments.

Advantages

The aluminum braided jacket offers enhanced protection against wear, bending and external abrasion compared with standard PVC-sheathed cables. Compliance with USB 2.0 ensures reliable data transfer rates suitable for printing, file transfers and many audio/video peripherals. Standard A and B connector types make the cable compatible with a wide range of common devices, and the 2.0 m length provides flexible placement without excessive cable slack. The cable's construction supports repeated frequent use and stable physical connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop or laptop computers to printers and scanners
• Linking external hard drives and optical drives that use USB B
• Establishing wired connections for audio interfaces and other studio equipment
• Replacing worn or damaged USB A–B cables in office and home environments

Key specifications

• Connector types: USB A (male) to USB B (male)
• USB standard: USB 2.0
• Cable length: 2.0 m
• Jacket material: aluminum braided sheath
• Color: black with blue accents
• Primary use: data transfer and device connectivity

How to use

Connect the USB A plug to an available USB port on your computer and plug the USB B connector into the compatible port on the peripheral device. Ensure both devices are powered on if required. For first-time connections, allow the operating system to detect the device and install any necessary drivers. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points and secure any excess length to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid heavy mechanical stress on the connectors and do not tightly coil the cable around objects. Keep the aluminum braided jacket clean and free of sharp debris. If using the cable near sources of strong electromagnetic interference, maintain some distance between the cable and those sources to minimise potential signal issues.
