USB-adapter Lindy USB A male-naar-male adapter 71229

The Lindy USB A Male to A Male Gender Changer (71229) is a compact adapter that connects two USB A cables by joining their Type A male ends, allowing you to extend or re-route an existing USB connection. It is USB 2.0 High Speed compliant and backwards compatible with USB 1.1 devices, and comes in a durable black casing with a 10-year warranty.

Advantages

The adapter provides a simple and space-saving solution to join two USB A cables without adding extra length from a new cable. Compliance with USB 2.0 High Speed ensures reliable data transfer rates for compatible devices, while support for USB 1.1 preserves compatibility with older peripherals. Its compact black housing is designed for easy handling and discreet installation.

Suitable for

• Extending an existing USB A connection by joining two USB A cables
• Connecting devices with USB A ports where a direct cable is required
• Temporary or permanent re-routing of USB A cable runs in desktop setups

How to use

Recommendations

Use this gender changer for short extensions or routing adjustments; avoid creating long cascades of adapters and cables which may reduce signal quality. For high-power USB devices or long cable runs, consider using a powered USB hub or a single, properly rated cable to maintain reliable power and data integrity.
