USB-C-adapter Digitus DA-70828

The DIGITUS USB-C to 2x HDMI Adapter Cable transmits video and audio from a USB-C port to one or two HDMI displays with support for up to 4K Ultra HD resolution. It connects notebooks, tablets or other USB-C devices to HDMI monitors, projectors or TVs and delivers integrated audio to external sound systems. Power is supplied through the USB-C port and the adapter works without additional drivers.

Advantages

This USB-C graphics adapter features two HDMI outputs for connecting up to two displays. It supports single-monitor operation at 4K/60 Hz and dual-monitor operation at 4K/30 Hz, handling both SST and MST modes. The adapter carries audio together with video, is powered via USB-C, and operates plug-and-play without requiring driver installation.

Key specifications

• Interface: USB-C to 2 × HDMI
• Maximum resolution (single monitor): 4K @ 60 Hz
• Maximum resolution (dual monitors): 4K @ 30 Hz

How to use

Connect the cable's USB-C plug to the USB-C port of your notebook, tablet or compatible device. Then connect one or two HDMI cables from the adapter to the HDMI inputs on your monitor(s), projector or TV. The device will receive power through the USB-C connection and start transmitting video and audio automatically; no driver installation or configuration is required. To achieve 4K/60 Hz, use a single HDMI display and ensure the source device and HDMI cables support the required bandwidth.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use high-quality HDMI cables and verify that your source device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C and the required output resolutions. When connecting two monitors, confirm that the host device supports MST for extended displays; otherwise the second display may mirror the first or run at a lower refresh rate.
