USB-C-adapter ShiverPeaks 14-05035, USB 4.0, 90° haakse stekker

The ShiverPeaks USB-C adapter 14-05035 provides a right-angle USB-C connection with support for USB4 performance. It offers a 90° connector orientation that reduces cable strain and improves clearance behind laptops, tablets and other USB-C equipped devices. The adapter is intended for use where straight plugs would obstruct space or where cable routing benefits from an angled plug, and it supports common USB-C functions such as power delivery, charging, and high-speed data transfer when used with compatible hosts and cables.

Advantages

The right-angle design minimizes stress on the cable and connector, helping to prevent bending and wear in tight spaces. Compatibility with USB4-capable ports enables high data throughput and modern data protocols when paired with appropriate devices and cables. The compact form factor improves clearance behind furniture or docking stations and simplifies cable management without altering device ports.

Suitable for

• Creating a low-profile connection behind laptops and tablets
• Reducing cable strain on portable devices and docking stations
• Routing USB-C cables in tight or crowded workspaces
• Connecting USB-C chargers and docks where straight plugs interfere with placement

Key specifications

• Connector orientation: 90° right-angle USB-C plug
• Interface standard: USB4-compatible
• Supported functions: power delivery, charging, and data transfer (dependent on host and cable capabilities)
• Form factor: compact inline adapter for rear or side port clearance

How to use

Insert the adapter's USB-C plug into a compatible USB-C port on your laptop, tablet or peripheral with the right-angle oriented to fit your available space. Connect your USB-C cable to the adapter's receptacle, ensuring both cable and host support the desired power or data profile. For best results, use USB4- or USB-C certified cables and ensure devices are updated to the latest firmware when applicable.

Recommendations

Avoid applying excessive force or twisting the adapter while connected; route cables gently to maintain the reduced strain benefits. Verify that attached chargers and peripherals match the power and data requirements of your device to ensure safe and reliable operation.
