USB-C-oplader Cudy CH40_EU 40W 2-poorts USB-C/USB-A snelladen

The Cudy CH40_EU 40W 2-Port USB-C/USB-A fast charging adapter is a compact wall charger designed to supply power to smartphones, tablets and other USB-powered devices. With one USB-C PD-capable port and one USB-A port, the charger delivers up to 40W total power so you can charge two devices at the same time. Its small footprint and foldable or low-profile plug (where applicable) make it suitable for everyday use at home, in the office or while travelling.

Advantages

The charger supports fast charging protocols via the USB-C port and provides a standard high-current USB-A output for legacy devices. Its combined 40W output allows flexible power distribution between two connected devices without the need for multiple adapters. The unit’s compact design and lightweight construction improve portability, and built-in protection mechanisms help guard against overcurrent, overvoltage and short circuits.

Suitable for

• Charging smartphones and small tablets simultaneously
• Powering power banks for recharging
• Providing a compact charger for travel or daily carry
• Replacing a single-purpose charger at home or at the office

When it may not be suitable

The Cudy CH40_EU is intended for charging USB-powered devices and is not a replacement for high-power laptop chargers that require higher wattage or specific barrel connectors. Devices that demand more than 40W input may charge more slowly or not reach full charging speeds when paired with this adapter. For heavy-duty charging of power-hungry laptops or multiple high-wattage devices, a higher-capacity charger would be more appropriate.

Key specifications

• Total output power: up to 40W combined across both ports
• Ports: 1 × USB-C (Power Delivery compatible), 1 × USB-A
• Supported charging modes: fast charge via USB-C, standard fast output on USB-A
• Form factor: compact wall adapter suitable for travel
• Protection features: overcurrent, overvoltage and short-circuit protection

How to use

Plug the Cudy CH40_EU into a compatible wall socket, then connect your device using the appropriate USB-C or USB-A cable. If charging two devices, connect one device to each port; the charger will allocate available power between them up to a combined 40W. Use a USB-C cable that supports power delivery for fastest charging on USB-C devices. Unplug the charger from the mains when not in use or during thunderstorms for added safety.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm your device’s maximum supported charging power and compatibility with USB Power Delivery or standard USB charging.
• Ensure your existing cables support the required power levels (use PD-capable USB-C cables for fast charging).
• Check that a 40W combined output meets your needs if you plan to charge multiple high-wattage devices simultaneously.

Recommendations

For the best charging performance, use a quality USB-C to USB-C PD cable with the USB-C port and avoid charging devices that require more than 40W. Place the charger in a well-ventilated area during prolonged charging and disconnect when not needed to conserve energy and reduce heat build-up.
