WLAN Access Point Cudy AP3600 2,4/5 GHz 2882 Mbit/s 2.5GbE wit

Cudy AP3600 is a wall- or ceiling-mounted dual-band WiFi 7 access point for high-density environments such as malls, offices and campuses. It supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation with a combined maximum data rate of 2882 Mbit/s, offers internal antennas and provides wired connectivity via a 2.5GbE-capable Ethernet port and an additional PoE Out port. The device is compact, white and rated for up to 10 W power consumption, suitable for PoE deployments and locations requiring discreet ceiling or wall installation.

Advantages

The AP3600 delivers high combined throughput across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and includes four internal antennas for stable coverage in dense user scenarios. A 2.5G PoE IN port enables faster wired backhaul and simplified installation using PoE, while a PoE Out port can power a downstream device. Low-profile wall/ceiling mounting and a 10 W maximum power draw make the unit appropriate for small offices, retail spaces and campus areas where reliable multi-user Wi‑Fi is required.

Suitable for

• Malls and retail areas with many concurrent users
• Small and medium offices requiring stable wireless for conferencing and streaming
• Educational or corporate campuses with ceiling or wall mount points
• PoE-deployed networks where simplified installation is desired

Key specifications

• Wireless bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
• Maximum combined data rate: 2882 Mbit/s
• 2.4 GHz throughput: 688 Mbit/s
• 5 GHz throughput: 2882 Mbit/s
• Antennas: 4 internal
• Ethernet ports (RJ-45): 2 (includes 2.5GbE capable LAN/PoE IN and PoE Out)
• Product colour: White
• Maximum power consumption: 10 W

How to use

Mount the Cudy AP3600 on a wall or ceiling at a central location to maximise coverage. Connect the PoE IN port to a compatible PoE switch or injector supporting 2.5GbE if available, or use the Ethernet LAN port for standard wired uplink. Configure SSIDs, security (WPA3/WPA2 as supported by your network controller) and network settings via the device management interface or controller software before placing into production. Use the PoE Out port to power a secondary PoE device if required.

Recommendations

Place the unit away from large metal obstacles and microwaves, position it centrally within the coverage area, and ensure the upstream switch or router supports sufficient throughput (preferably 2.5GbE) to utilise the AP3600's maximum data rates.
