USB-kabel ShiverPeaks BS13-37150 1,5 m USB 3.2 Gen 2 grijs

The ShiverPeaks BS13-37150 USB cable is a 1.5 m grey data cable with USB A connectors on both ends that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2) speeds up to 10 Gbit/s. Designed for direct device-to-device connections and reliable data transfer, the cable features gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and resistance to corrosion. Its flexible jacket and modern grey finish suit desktop, office and home environments where a balance of performance and understated design is required.

Advantages

This USB cable provides high-speed data transfer up to 10 Gbit/s enabled by USB 3.2 Gen 2 specification while maintaining backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. Gold-plated contacts reduce contact resistance and help prevent oxidation for longer service life. The 1.5 m length offers a practical reach for connecting external drives, docking stations or peripherals without excess slack. Both ends use standard USB A connectors for broad compatibility with existing equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives and SSD enclosures to computers
• Linking docking stations or USB hubs to host machines
• Data transfer between computers and USB-A-equipped peripherals
• Temporary direct device-to-device file transfers that require high throughput

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A to USB A
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2)
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 10 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: grey

How to use

Insert one USB A connector into the host device and the other USB A connector into the peripheral or target device. Ensure both ports support the required USB standard for optimal performance; if a connected port supports a lower USB version, the connection will operate at that lower speed. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends during insertion or removal. For best results, connect to powered ports or devices that supply sufficient power when using bus-powered peripherals.

Recommendations

Use this cable for high-bandwidth transfers such as large file copies or backups, and when a direct USB A to USB A connection is needed. When long-term outdoor or industrial use is intended, consider a cable with additional mechanical reinforcement; for standard office and home use, store the cable coiled loosely to preserve its shielding and conductor integrity.
