USB-kabel ShiverPeaks BS13-48015 USB4 Gen 2x2 0,5 m USB C zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS13-48015 USB cable is a 0.5 m USB C to USB C lead designed for high-throughput connections. It implements USB4 Gen 2x2 signaling to deliver up to 20 Gbit/s data transfer speed and includes magnetic shielding to reduce interference and improve signal integrity. The cable's compact length and reversible USB C connectors make it suitable for short-distance connections between modern laptops, docking stations, external drives and compatible mobile devices.

Advantages

This USB C cable supports USB4 Gen 2x2 bandwidth for fast file transfers and low-latency peripheral connections. Magnetic shielding improves noise rejection and helps maintain stable throughput in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. The 0.5 m length limits clutter and signal attenuation for nearby devices, while the reversible USB C plugs ensure simple plug-and-play use without orientation concerns. The black finish provides a neutral, professional appearance that integrates easily with a variety of setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop to a docking station or port hub for video and data
• High-speed data transfer to external NVMe or SSD enclosures
• Short-range charging and data sync for USB C smartphones and tablets
• Linking compatible monitors and peripherals that accept USB C input

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB Type-C on both ends
• USB version: USB4 Gen 2x2
• Maximum data rate: up to 20 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Shielding: magnetic shielding for improved signal integrity
• Colour: black

How to use

Insert each USB Type-C connector into the corresponding USB C ports on your devices until they seat firmly. No special drivers are required for standard file transfer and charging functions when both host and device support USB4 Gen 2x2 or backward-compatible USB standards. For data transfers, ensure the host device and target storage or peripheral also support the advertised bandwidth to achieve maximum throughput. Use the 0.5 m cable for short-reach connections to minimize cable slack and potential signal loss.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect devices that both support USB4 Gen 2x2 and avoid routing the cable parallel to high-power mains cabling. Do not bend the cable sharply near the connectors; allow gentle curves and avoid excessive tension. When using external NVMe or SSD enclosures, verify enclosure and drive specifications to ensure the overall data path supports 20 Gbit/s.
