USB-kabel USB4 Gen 3x2 ShiverPeaks BS13-65155 1,5 m zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS13-65155 USB Cable USB4 Gen 3x2 1.5m in black is designed for high-bandwidth connections between modern computers, external storage, displays and peripherals. This USB4 Gen 3x2 cable supports up to 40 Gbit/s data transfer, uses gold-plated connector contacts for improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance, and features magnetic shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain stable signal integrity over its 1.5 meter length.

Advantages

The cable provides high-throughput data transfer suitable for large file movement and fast backups. Gold-plated contacts enhance long-term reliability and reduce oxidation at connection points. Magnetic shielding minimizes noise and crosstalk, which helps preserve signal quality for demanding applications. Its 1.5 m length balances flexibility and low signal loss for desktop and mobile setups, while the neutral black finish integrates with a variety of equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting high-speed external SSDs and RAID enclosures
• Linking USB4-compatible laptops and docking stations
• Transferring large media files between workstations
• Using with compatible displays and video adapters that accept USB4 bandwidth
• Reliable connections for content creation and data-centre class workflows

Key specifications

• Interface: USB4 Gen 3x2
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 40 Gbit/s
• Length: 1.5 meters
• Connector contacts: gold-plated
• Shielding: magnetic shielding to reduce interference
• Color: black

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the USB4 port on your host device and the other end to the peripheral device that supports USB4 or a compatible alternate mode. Ensure both devices support the intended transfer speeds and power delivery requirements; when connecting to devices with different specifications the effective throughput will depend on the lowest common capability. Insert connectors fully until they seat to ensure optimal contact; unplug by pulling the connector body rather than yanking the cable.

Recommendations

For best results, use this USB4 Gen 3x2 cable with devices that explicitly support USB4 or the relevant alternate modes. Avoid tightly bending the cable near the connectors, route it away from large sources of electromagnetic noise, and periodically inspect connector contacts for debris. When maximum sustained throughput is required, keep cable runs within the specified length and ensure host and device firmware/drivers are up to date.
