USB-kabel Vision TC-2MUSBEXT-BL USB 2.0 2 m zwart

The Vision TC-2MUSBEXT-BL USB 2.0 cable is a 2-metre black data cable with USB A connectors on both ends. Designed for standard USB 2.0 connections, it supports a maximum data transfer rate of 0.48 Gbit/s and features gold-plated contacts for improved contact reliability and conductivity. Its length and connector type make it suitable for extending connections between computers, peripherals and other USB A devices where a reliable wired link is needed.

Advantages

The cable provides stable USB 2.0 data transfer at up to 0.48 Gbit/s while maintaining compatibility with a wide range of USB A devices. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and help ensure consistent electrical contact over time. The 2 m length offers flexibility for desktop and office setups without excessive slack, and the black jacket provides neutral aesthetics and resistance to visible dirt.

Suitable for

• Extending wired connections between PCs and peripherals (printers, scanners)
• Connecting external storage devices that use USB A
• Linking USB hubs or devices in office and home environments
• Temporary or semi-permanent cable runs where USB 2.0 speed is sufficient

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A to USB A
• USB version: USB 2.0
• Maximum data transfer rate: 0.48 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 2 m
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one end of the Vision TC-2MUSBEXT-BL to a USB A port on the host device and the other end to the USB A port of the peripheral or device to be linked. Ensure connectors are fully seated and oriented correctly before applying force. The cable adheres to USB 2.0 signaling; no additional drivers are required for basic data connections on most operating systems. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors to maintain long-term integrity.

Recommendations

Use the cable for devices and applications that operate within USB 2.0 performance limits. For high-bandwidth needs such as sustained large file transfers or modern high-speed external storage, consider verifying device requirements and, if necessary, selecting a higher-speed USB standard. Store the cable coiled without tight folds and avoid excessive tension to extend service life.
