USB-WLAN-adapter Epson DUAL FUNCTION WIRELESS ADAPTER V12H005A01, 5 GHz, wit

The USB Wi‑Fi adapter Epson DUAL FUNCTION WIRELESS ADAPTER V12H005A01 is a compact accessory that adds or extends wireless connectivity for compatible Epson printers and multifunction devices. Designed to operate on the 5 GHz band, the white adapter enables cable-free printing and scanning and aims to improve connection stability and transfer speed compared with some 2.4 GHz-only connections. Supplied in a small retail package, this adapter is intended for users who need to connect a supported Epson device to a Wi‑Fi network without internal wireless hardware.

Advantages

The adapter supports 5 GHz wireless operation, which can reduce interference and provide higher throughput in environments with multiple wireless devices. Its compact USB form factor allows installation without modifying the host device, and the white finish matches many Epson product designs. By enabling both printing and scanning over Wi‑Fi, it simplifies cable management and permits placement flexibility for printers and multifunction units.

Suitable for

• Adding wireless connectivity to compatible Epson printers and MFPs
• Replacing or extending an existing wireless interface using the 5 GHz band
• Home and small office layouts where reduced Wi‑Fi interference is desirable
• Setups that require cable-free printing and network scanning

Key specifications

• Wireless band: 5 GHz
• Interface: USB (adapter connects to host device USB port)
• Colour: White
• Form factor: Compact external USB module
• Primary functions: Wireless printing and scanning support

How to use

Install the adapter into a compatible Epson device’s designated USB slot following the device manufacturer’s user guide. After physical installation, configure the adapter to join the local Wi‑Fi network via the printer or MFP control panel or through the manufacturer’s setup utility on a connected computer. Ensure the host device firmware supports the adapter model and follow on‑screen instructions to enter network credentials and complete the connection. Once connected, add or update the printer on client computers or mobile devices to enable wireless printing and scanning.

Recommendations

For best performance, place the host device within clear range of the Wi‑Fi access point and avoid large physical obstacles. Use the 5 GHz network when available for higher throughput and lower interference; verify that client devices are on the same network or configured to access the printer. Confirm device compatibility and latest firmware from the device documentation before installation.
