Valsgelddetector Safescan 155-S multi-valuta zwart

The Safescan 155-S Multi-currency counterfeit bill detector in black is a compact verification device designed to detect forged banknotes quickly and reliably. It integrates multiple authentication technologies — infrared, magnetic, ink and metallic thread detection — to check a wide range of currencies. The unit is mains-powered and accepts a wide AC voltage range, making it compatible with different regional power supplies. Its small footprint and straightforward operation suit retail, hospitality and other cash-handling environments that require fast note screening.

Advantages

The detector combines four complementary detection methods to increase accuracy when verifying banknotes from various countries. Its multi-currency support removes the need for separate devices for different currencies. The compact and lightweight design allows placement on counters or in back-office areas without occupying much space. Operation from standard AC power with a wide voltage range ensures stable performance in diverse locations.

Suitable for

• Retail points of sale for quick banknote verification
• Restaurants, cafes and bars handling cash transactions
• Small offices and kiosks that accept multiple currencies
• Market stalls and trade shows where compact equipment is needed

Key specifications

• Detection methods: infrared, magnetic, ink, metallic thread
• Power supply: AC, wide voltage range (110–240 V)
• Colour: black
• Weight: approximately 0.66 kg
• Form factor: compact countertop unit suitable for limited spaces

How to use

Place the Safescan 155-S on a stable, level surface near a mains outlet. Connect the device to AC power using the supplied cable and switch it on. Insert banknotes according to the directional indicator; the detector will evaluate security features using its combined detection methods and indicate validity. For best results, handle notes by the edges to avoid contaminating sensors and allow the unit to warm up briefly after powering on before performing continuous checks.

Recommendations

Keep the detector clean and free of dust; periodically inspect the note path for debris. Use the device in normal indoor temperatures and avoid exposure to direct sunlight or moisture. For optimum performance, verify notes under consistent lighting conditions and consult local currency guidelines for any country-specific security features not covered by the device.
