Veiligheidsbril Uvex 9198256 blauw zwart

The Uvex 9198256 safety spectacles combine a modern, sporty appearance with functional eye protection. The narrow geometry of the frame allows comfortable use together with ear defenders, helmets and bump caps. The frame is available in black and light blue and fitted with a clear polycarbonate (PC) duo-spherical lens offering a large field of vision and certified protection according to EN 166 and EN 170. Labelling on the product reads: W 166 FT CE – 2C-1.2 W 1 FTKN CE. The lens provides reliable UV400 protection and features uvex supravision excellence for anti-fog performance inside and high scratch- and chemical-resistance outside.

Advantages

The spectacles provide clear vision through a duo-spherical PC lens with UV400 protection and compliance to EN 166 and EN 170 standards. Comfort features include a directly moulded forehead piece and nose piece, uvex duo component technology in the frame, and x-twist side arm technology for a secure, non-slip fit. The narrow frame geometry permits use with additional PPE such as earmuffs and helmets. The lens surface is treated to resist fogging on the inside and abrasion and chemicals on the outside.

How to use

Place the safety spectacles so the directly moulded forehead and nose pieces sit comfortably against the face. Adjust the x-twist side arms to ensure a secure, non-slip fit around the temples. Use together with required PPE—ear defenders, helmets or bump caps—taking advantage of the narrow frame geometry for compatibility. Clean the lens with a soft cloth and a manufacturer-recommended cleaner; avoid abrasive materials. Inspect the spectacles before each use for damage and replace them if the lens or frame is compromised.

Recommendations

Store the spectacles in a protective case when not in use to preserve the anti-fog and scratch-resistant coatings. Do not use damaged or heavily scratched lenses as protection may be reduced. Follow workplace PPE procedures and the manufacturer’s care instructions to maintain certification performance.
