Veiligheidsschoenen Uvex 85438 unisex volwassenen zwart lime polyurethaan microvelours

Uvex 85438 Unisex Adult Black Lime Polyurethane Micro Velour safety shoes combine a breathable micro velour upper with a dual-density polyurethane outsole to deliver a balance of protection and comfort for a wide range of light work environments. Designed within the uvex 1 concept, these shoes follow ergonomic principles to reduce strain on the musculoskeletal system while maintaining a minimalist, functional appearance. The model meets S1 safety requirements and offers additional slip resistance and ESD performance for workplaces with electrostatic control needs.

Advantages

The construction is largely seam-free with soft padding at the collar and tongue, reducing pressure points and improving all-day wearability. A 100% metal-free toe cap provides anatomically shaped impact protection without thermal conductivity and with good lateral stability. The dual-density polyurethane outsole provides excellent slip resistance, and the breathable, perforated materials plus a moisture-transport insole contribute to a climate-optimised interior. Lightweight materials and the option of elastic or normal laces enable quick, personalised fit adjustments.

Suitable for

• Light industrial and workshop tasks
• Logistics and warehouse work with slip risk
• Environments requiring ESD protection and control
• Positions requiring long periods of standing or walking

How to use

Select the correct size to ensure the anatomical toe cap and insole provide intended protection and comfort. Use the elastic laces for quick adjustment or the normal laces for a conventional fit; replace or adjust insoles as needed to accommodate personal orthopaedic inserts. Maintain the shoes by regularly cleaning the upper with a soft brush or damp cloth and allowing them to dry naturally at room temperature. Inspect the outsole and protective elements periodically for wear and replace the footwear when protective performance declines.

Recommendations

For optimal ESD performance, wear with suitable ESD-certified grounding systems and ensure insoles and socks are clean and dry. Use these shoes in accordance with workplace safety policies and replace them when outsole grip, toe cap integrity, or general structural condition is compromised.
