Ventilator Akasa Alucia XS12 120 mm zwart blauw 700-2000 tpm HDB

The Akasa Alucia XS12 is a premium slim 120mm fan designed for case, heatsink or radiator cooling in small form factor PCs. With a low installation height of 15 mm, Hydro Dynamic Bearing (HDB) technology and a speed range of 700–2000 RPM under PWM control, it balances airflow and quiet operation while offering a blue and black aesthetic option.

Advantages

The Alucia XS12 provides efficient airflow up to 41.59 CFM through an optimized sickle-style blade geometry and hybrid sharp-curved profile. Anti-vibration pads at each corner reduce transmitted vibrations and operational noise. HDB technology increases oil capacity for better lubrication and smoother rotation, extending life up to 40,000 hours. PWM speed control adapts performance to system load for quieter low-load operation and higher cooling when required.

Suitable for

• Small form factor (SFF) PC cases with limited clearance
• Case ventilation where a slim 120 mm fan is required
• Heatsink or radiator cooling in compact builds

How to use

Install the fan in the intended orientation for intake or exhaust in your case, heatsink or radiator mount, ensuring the 15 mm clearance fits the available space. Connect the fan to a PWM-capable header on the motherboard or a compatible controller to enable automatic speed regulation between 700 and 2000 RPM. Use the supplied mounting points with anti-vibration pads in place to minimise vibration transfer.

Recommendations

For quieter operation, configure the motherboard fan curve or PWM profile to keep the fan at lower RPMs during idle and moderate loads; allow higher RPMs under sustained high CPU/GPU load for improved cooling. Regularly check and clean dust from the blades and surrounding area to maintain airflow and prolong bearing life.
