Ventilator Noctua NF-A12X25R PWM 12 cm beige bruin 2000 RPM 102,1 m³/u

The Noctua NF-A12x25r PWM is a 120 mm round-frame cooling fan based on Noctua’s award-winning NF-A12x25 design. It delivers class-leading quiet cooling performance with a maximum speed of 2000 RPM and an airflow of 102.1 m³/h. The round frame allows installation in space-restricted environments (e.g. between dual-tower low-height coolers) where square-frame 120 mm fans would not fit. The fan features a Sterrox® liquid-crystal polymer impeller, a metal-reinforced motor hub, SSO2 bearing and support for full automatic PWM speed control.

Advantages

The NF-A12x25r combines an advanced impeller with Flow Acceleration Channels, ultra-tight 0.5 mm tip clearance and a metal-reinforced hub to achieve high efficiency and low noise under back pressure. Its AAO frame integrates anti-vibration pads, Stepped Inlet Design and Inner Surface Microstructures for improved acoustic performance and airflow. The fan includes a Low-Noise Adaptor to cap speed at 1700 RPM, multiple cabling options and comes with a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Suitable for

• Low-height dual-tower CPU coolers (e.g. recessed mounting between heatsink towers)
• Space-restricted PC cases and custom enclosures where square-frame 120 mm fans do not fit
• Heatsinks and radiators that require efficient static pressure performance
• Quiet-system builds requiring PWM automatic speed control and semi-passive operation

• Fan diameter: 120 mm (120 x 120 x 25 mm)
• Maximum speed: 2000 RPM (L.N.A. reduces max to 1700 RPM)
• Airflow: 102.1 m³/h
• Bearing: SSO2 (self-stabilizing oil-pressure type)
• Frame: round AAO frame with anti-vibration pads
• Materials: Sterrox® LCP impeller; metal-reinforced motor hub and brass bearing shell
• Connector & cables: 4-pin PWM, 20 cm primary cable, 30 cm extension, 4-pin Y-cable included
• Voltage: 12 V
• Weight: 0.33 kg
• Colour: Beige/Brown

How to use

Mount the fan using standard 120 mm screws or compatible mounting hardware, ensuring the round frame fits the intended recess or cutout. Connect the 4-pin PWM connector to a motherboard fan header or PWM controller to enable automatic speed control. Use the supplied extension or Y-cable when routing or controlling multiple fans. If lower maximum speed and noise are desired, attach the supplied Low-Noise Adaptor to reduce top speed to 1700 RPM.

Recommendations

Install the NF-A12x25r with the airflow direction aligned to your cooling path and avoid obstructing the intake/outlet areas. For optimal acoustic performance on heatsinks or radiators, use PWM control and consider the Low-Noise Adaptor to limit peak RPM. Periodically check for dust build-up and clean the impeller and frame as needed to maintain performance.
