Ventilator PHANTEKS M25G2-120 120mm PWM zwart

PHANTEKS M25G2-120 is a 120mm PWM-controlled cooling fan in black designed for PC cooling. The fan offers PWM speed control for precise adjustment between low-noise operation and higher airflow when cooling demand increases. Compatible with standard 120mm mounting points for chassis or CPU cooler integration, this fan is built to fit common PC layouts and can be mounted in either orientation to match airflow and pressure requirements.

Advantages

The M25G2-120 provides a balance of airflow and acoustic performance through PWM regulation and a 120mm frame optimized for broad compatibility. Its black finish and compact profile simplify installation in a variety of builds without drawing attention. The fan uses a standard connector and bearing design to deliver consistent rotational stability and prolonged operation under typical desktop workloads.

Key specifications

• Form factor: 120 mm standard frame
• Control: PWM speed control for automatic RPM adjustment
• Color: Black
• Mounting: Compatible with 120 mm screw mounts, reversible orientation
• Connector type: Standard PWM fan connector (3- or 4-pin implementation compatible with PWM headers)
• Application: Case fan or auxiliary CPU/radiator fan for consumer PCs

How to use

Install the PHANTEKS M25G2-120 into any standard 120mm mounting location in your PC case or onto a compatible radiator or heatsink. Align the screw holes with the case or bracket, secure the fan with appropriate screws, and connect the fan header to a motherboard PWM header or a compatible fan controller. Use the motherboard BIOS or fan control software to configure PWM curves so the fan adjusts speed automatically according to temperature readings.

Recommendations

Place the fan to create a consistent airflow path through the case: front and bottom positions for intake, top and rear for exhaust. Ensure the PWM header is enabled in the BIOS for dynamic speed control, and periodically check mounting screws and dust buildup to maintain optimal cooling performance and quiet operation.
