Ventilatorsnelheidsregelaar Corsair iCUE Commander Core XT

The CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT is a combined PWM fan and RGB lighting controller designed to add smart control to a PC case. Using CORSAIR iCUE software, it provides precise fan speed adjustment, intelligent fan detection and centralized RGB lighting control for multiple CORSAIR components.

Advantages

The COMMANDER CORE XT supports control of up to six PWM case fans and an additional RGB channel for other CORSAIR RGB devices, enabling system-wide lighting synchronization. Two repositionable temperature sensors are included for accurate thermal monitoring and automatic fan and lighting adjustments via iCUE. The unit features automatic detection of compatible CORSAIR RGB fans, embedded magnets and a low-profile design for simple installation.

Key specifications

• Fan control: up to six PWM fans, includes Zero RPM mode
• RGB control: up to 264 RGB LEDs; up to six CORSAIR RGB fans plus one additional lighting channel
• Temperature monitoring: two included repositionable temperature sensors
• Compatibility: compatible with CORSAIR RGB fans and CORSAIR RGB components
• Software: CORSAIR iCUE for fan speed, temperature-based control and RGB customization
• Installation: automatic fan detection, embedded magnets, low-profile design

How to use

Install the COMMANDER CORE XT inside the PC case using its embedded magnets or mounting points, connect up to six PWM fans and CORSAIR RGB devices to the appropriate headers, and plug in the two temperature sensors where needed. Launch CORSAIR iCUE software to detect connected components, configure fan curves, enable Zero RPM mode if desired, and create RGB lighting profiles or temperature-based lighting and fan response.

Recommendations

Place the included temperature sensors near components or areas where you want precise thermal feedback (for example, near the CPU radiator or GPU). Use iCUE to set custom fan curves based on those sensors for balanced cooling and noise. Ensure connected RGB devices are CORSAIR-compatible for automatic detection and full functionality.
