Vention HDMI-naar-DVI-kabel 1,5 m zwart HDMI type A DVI-D

The Vention HDMI to DVI Cable 1.5M Black (HDMI Type A to DVI-D) is a bi-directional video cable designed to connect HDMI-equipped source devices to DVI displays or DVI-enabled sources to HDMI displays. With a 1.5 m length and 7.3 mm diameter, the cable supports common HDTV resolutions including 1080p and a range of lower resolutions for stable digital video transmission.

Advantages

This HDMI to DVI-D cable supports bi-directional signal transfer and 1080p @ 60Hz, while its double shielding (aluminum foil + braid) reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. The cable uses 24K gold-plated full-metal connectors, oxygen-free copper conductors and molded strain relief for durability, and features finger-tightened screws to secure the DVI connection. The PVC outer jacket and corrosion-resistant connectors help maintain signal quality over repeated use.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDMI output devices (PC, laptop, media players, consoles) to DVI monitors or displays
• Connecting DVI-enabled sources to HDMI displays where DVI-D to HDMI conversion is required
• Setups requiring a stable 1080p video signal without audio over short to medium cable runs

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of your source device (PC, laptop, console, media player) and the DVI-D 24+1 male end to the DVI input on your monitor or display. Tighten the DVI finger screws by hand to secure the connection. The cable supports one-way video signal conversion in either direction (HDMI to DVI or DVI to HDMI); note that DVI does not carry audio, so a separate audio connection is required if sound is needed.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium distances (recommended within 1.5 m length) and avoid sharp bends or kinks. Ensure connectors are fully seated and screws are finger-tightened for a reliable connection. For audio needs, route a separate audio cable or use devices with built-in audio extraction.
