Vention USB-C naar DisplayPort 8K-kabel 2 m, USB Type-C naar DP, zwart

The Vention USB-C to DP 8K HD Cable 2M is a 2‑metre connection cable with a USB Type‑C male plug at one end and a DisplayPort male plug at the other. It is designed to transmit high‑resolution video signals up to 8K and is finished in black with gold‑plated contacts and aluminium mylar foil shielding. The cable has a 5 mm diameter and is supplied in a polybag.

Advantages

This cable supports up to 8K resolution, providing a high‑bandwidth link between USB‑C source devices and DisplayPort displays. Gold‑plated contacts improve signal reliability and corrosion resistance, while aluminium mylar foil shielding reduces electromagnetic interference. The 2 m length offers flexibility for desktop and workstation setups and the compact 5 mm diameter keeps cable routing neat.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or tablets with a USB‑C video output to monitors with DisplayPort input
• Connecting USB‑C docking stations to DisplayPort monitors
• High‑resolution video playback and professional display setups requiring up to 8K

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connectors: USB Type‑C (male) to DisplayPort (male)
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 8K
• Cable diameter: 5 mm
• Contact plating: gold
• Shielding: aluminium mylar foil
• Colour: black

How to use

Insert the USB‑C connector into the video output port of your source device (laptop, tablet, or docking station) and insert the DisplayPort connector into the monitor or projector input. Ensure both devices are powered on and configured to use the external display in the operating system display settings. If the target display supports multiple input resolutions, select the desired resolution (up to 8K) and refresh rate in the display settings.

Recommendations

For best results, use with devices and displays that explicitly support DisplayPort over USB‑C (Alt Mode) and ensure the source device’s GPU and the monitor support the intended 8K resolution and refresh rate. Avoid sharp bends or excessive tension on the cable to preserve shielding and connectors.
