Verbatim 43812 onbeschreven Blu-Ray-disc BD-R 25 GB 50 stuks

Blu-ray discs use blue laser technology with a 405 nm wavelength to increase storage density compared with standard DVDs. The shorter wavelength allows smaller data pits, which raises disc capacity and supports high-definition video recording, rewriting and playback.

Advantages

Blu-ray discs provide significantly higher storage capacity than recordable DVDs, typically three to five times more, enabling longer HD video recordings and improved data preservation. The technology is compatible with high-definition television formats and supports reliable playback and rewrite functions.

Key specifications

• Laser wavelength: 405 nm (blue laser)
• Comparison laser wavelength (DVD): 650 nm (red laser)
• Storage capacity: approximately 3–5× higher than standard recordable DVD
• Primary use: recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video

How to use

Insert the Blu-ray disc into a compatible Blu-ray recorder or player. Use device software or on-player controls to record, rewrite or play high-definition content. Ensure your player or recorder supports Blu-ray format and that source video is in a supported HD format for optimal results.

Recommendations

For reliable recording and playback, use discs and players from reputable manufacturers, keep firmware up to date, and handle discs by the edges to avoid scratches that can affect high-density data reading.
