VGA-monitorkabel DIGITUS AK-310103-100-E — HD15(M) naar HD15(M), 10 m, 3Coax+7-draads, beige

Digitus VGA Monitor connection cable (HD15/M to HD15/M) provides a standard analog video link between a PC and a monitor, projector or beamer. The cable is 10 m long, uses a 3-coax + 7-wire construction and has VGA (D-Sub) connectors on both ends to transmit analogue RGB signals for typical display setups.

Advantages

The cable offers shielding that reduces external interference and helps prevent ghosting and other image distortions. With a 10 m length it enables flexible device placement, while the HD15 (VGA) connectors ensure compatibility with many legacy displays and projectors. Beige jacket and standard VGA pinout make it suitable for common office and home installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to a monitor with VGA input
• Connecting a computer to a projector/beamer for presentations
• Extending VGA signal run in classrooms, meeting rooms or home offices

When it may not be suitable

This analogue VGA cable does not carry digital signals such as HDMI or DisplayPort and therefore is not suitable for digital-only displays or for transmitting HDCP-protected content. Image quality over longer runs depends on the connected devices and signal quality; for very high resolutions or long-distance digital transmission, a digital interface may be preferable.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Connector type: HD15 (VGA) male to HD15 (VGA) male
• Cable construction: 3 coaxial + 7-wire
• Colour: Beige

How to use

Connect one HD15 (VGA) male connector to the VGA output of your PC or laptop and the other HD15 (VGA) male connector to the VGA input of your monitor or projector. Secure the connectors using the integrated thumbscrews to ensure stable contact. Select the VGA input on the display device and adjust resolution and refresh rate in the computer’s display settings to match the monitor or projector capabilities.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure your source and display devices have VGA (HD15) connectors
• Confirm that a 10 m cable length suits your installation without excessive signal loss
• For digital-only displays or high-resolution needs, consider a digital interface like HDMI or DisplayPort

Recommendations

Route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources (power supplies, large motors, fluorescent fixtures) to minimise interference. Tighten connector screws by hand; avoid excessive force. If image quality degrades at higher resolutions, lower the resolution or shorten the run, or use a signal booster or a digital connection.
