Video-adapterkabel HDMI naar VGA (D-Sub) + 3,5 mm MediaRange MRCS167

The MediaRange MRCS167 is a compact video cable adapter designed to connect HDMI sources to VGA (D-Sub) displays while providing a separate 3.5mm audio output. It has a male HDMI connector on one end and a VGA (D-Sub) female interface plus a 3.5mm jack for audio on the other end. The adapter enables analogue VGA monitors and projectors to receive video from digital HDMI devices where direct compatibility is not available.

Advantages

This HDMI to VGA adapter offers plug-and-play operation without the need for additional drivers, enabling a quick connection between modern HDMI players, laptops or media boxes and older VGA displays. The included 3.5mm audio output separates sound from the VGA signal, allowing connection to external speakers or sound systems. Its compact black casing and single-cable design reduce clutter and simplify temporary or portable setups for presentations or home AV use.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or streaming devices with HDMI output to VGA projectors or monitors
• Classroom and business presentations where VGA displays are still used
• Home theater setups combining HDMI sources with analogue displays and external audio
• Temporary AV installations and portable presentation kits

Key specifications

• Connector 1: HDMI (male)
• Connector 2: VGA (D-Sub) female + 3.5mm audio output
• Signal conversion: digital HDMI video to analogue VGA video
• Audio: 3.5mm analogue stereo output for external speakers or amplifiers
• Housing colour: Black

How to use

Plug the HDMI male connector into the HDMI output of your source device, then connect a VGA cable from the adapter's VGA connector to the VGA input of the display or projector. If audio is needed, connect a 3.5mm audio cable from the adapter's audio jack to speakers or an audio system. Switch the display to the correct input and set the source device to the desired output resolution supported by the VGA display. For best results, choose a resolution compatible with the receiving monitor or projector.

Lietošanas ieteikumi

Use a high-quality VGA cable for stable image transmission, verify the target display's maximum supported resolution, and if no image appears, check the source device's HDMI output settings or try a different HDMI port. Avoid bending connectors sharply and store the adapter in a dry place when not in use.
