Video-deurintercom Hikvision DS-KH6320Y-WTE2 7 inch TFT-display

Hikvision Two-Wire Video Intercom system includes both indoor and outdoor stations and uses a distributor that requires only two wires: one for power and one for audio/video transmission. The modular design supports combinations of function-specific modules and integrates with CCTV and mobile app control. The system is designed for straightforward retrofit of older intercoms and provides improved video quality through advanced camera and Power Line Communication (PLC) technology. The product family supports high video and audio quality with simple wiring for upgrades.

Advantages

The two-wire architecture simplifies installation when replacing legacy intercoms by reusing existing cabling, reducing labor and material costs. Modular door stations allow customization with modules such as card readers, nameplates and keypads, enabling flexible configuration for different sites. Integration with CCTV and mobile app control enhances remote monitoring and access management. Built-in PLC and advanced camera capabilities improve image transmission and audiovisual clarity.

Suitable for

• Retrofitting existing residential or small commercial intercom installations
• Apartment buildings and gated communities requiring modular door stations
• Sites needing integration with CCTV systems and remote mobile access
• Installations where minimal rewiring is preferred

How to use

Install the distributor and connect the indoor and outdoor stations using the existing two-core cable—one conductor for power and the other for audio/video—then fit the chosen modules into the modular door station according to site requirements. Configure the indoor unit (for example, the DS-KH6320Y-WTE2) via its on-screen menu to set language, connect to local network or app services, and insert a compatible microSD card if local recording is required. Test audio, video and remote app control after installation to ensure correct operation.

Recommendations

Use the two-wire system to minimize rewiring during upgrades; ensure cable condition is adequate for power and PLC signalling. For best video performance, place cameras and door modules where they have unobstructed views and maintain recommended network settings for mobile app integration. Use a high-quality microSD card (up to 128 GB) for reliable local storage.
