Video-SCART-kabel ShiverPeaks 96010 — type-U-stekker, enkele SCART-naar-SCART-kabel

ShiverPeaks Video SCART cable 96010 is a SCART–SCART lead with a Type U connector designed to transmit analogue audio and video signals between compatible consumer electronics. The cable supports direct wired connections between televisions, DVD players, set-top boxes and other devices that use SCART interfaces, enabling composite and RGB signal pass-through where supported by the connected equipment. The lead is intended for home AV setups and device interconnection, providing a standard physical connection for legacy A/V equipment.

Advantages

The SCART–SCART lead uses a Type U connector at both ends to ensure consistent orientation and secure mating with SCART sockets. It offers a simple, passive connection that does not require configuration or power, allowing analogue video and audio signals to pass through unchanged where equipment supports it. The cable provides reliable physical connectivity for devices with SCART interfaces and is compatible with typical consumer electronics that implement composite or RGB pinouts.

Suitable for

• Connecting a television to a DVD player with SCART sockets
• Linking set-top boxes to TVs in home entertainment systems
• Interfacing legacy AV equipment and external recorders
• Replacing or extending existing SCART-to-SCART connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: SCART to SCART, Type U connector
• Signal type: Analogue audio and video (composite and RGB where supported)
• Intended use: Home audio/video device interconnection
• Cable function: Passive wired lead for A/V signal pass-through
• Length category: medium lead suitable for typical home setups

How to use

Ensure both devices are switched off before connecting the cable. Insert each SCART connector firmly into the SCART sockets of the two devices, observing the connector orientation for a secure fit. Once connected, power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the television or recorder to receive the audio/video signal. Use device menus to select composite or RGB output modes if available and supported by the connected equipment.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable in short to moderate-length runs and avoid sharp bends or kinks. Check device manuals to confirm SCART pinout and supported signal formats (composite or RGB) to ensure proper signal transmission. If signal quality is poor, verify connectors are fully seated and try alternative input settings on the devices.
