With a 5 m length and 7.3 mm diameter, the black cable is suitable for extending video connections between PCs, laptops, monitors, projectors and other display devices while maintaining high-quality signal transfer.

Advantages

Its 5 m length provides flexible placement of devices, and the 7.3 mm diameter contributes to a sturdy construction. The cable’s black colour and standard HDMI Type A and DVI connectors ensure wide compatibility with common monitors, projectors, PCs and laptops.

• Connecting a DVI monitor or projector to an HDMI output on a PC or laptop
• Connecting an HDMI monitor or projector to a DVI output on a PC or laptop
• Extending video connections in home theatre, office or gaming setups

How to use

Plug the HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of your source device (for example a PC or laptop) and plug the DVI connector into the DVI input of your display device (monitor or projector), or connect in the opposite direction if the display uses HDMI and the source uses DVI. Ensure both devices are powered on and select the correct input on the display. No additional drivers are required; the cable transmits the video signal passively between compatible HDMI and DVI interfaces.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid routing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources and do not sharply bend or kink the cable. Verify that the connected devices support the desired video resolution and refresh rate over the HDMI–DVI connection.
