Videokabel-adapter DELOCK USB Type-C naar DisplayPort 2 m, zwart

This Delock cable connects a DisplayPort monitor to a PC or laptop with a USB-C™ or Thunderbolt™ 3 port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. It is a 2 m single-piece video cable adapter with USB Type-C to DisplayPort connectors and a black jacket, intended for wired digital video transmission between compatible devices and DisplayPort displays or projectors.

Advantages

The cable supports the DisplayPort 1.4 specification and transmits both audio and video signals. It offers high-resolution video up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz or 3840 x 2160 at 144 Hz depending on system and connected hardware, supports 3D displays, HDR10 and HDCP 1.4/2.2, and features gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transfer. The plug & play design requires no drivers.

Suitable for

• Connecting a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 laptop (with DisplayPort Alt Mode) to a DisplayPort monitor
• Connecting tablets or ultrabooks with USB-C video output to projectors or external displays
• Home office and professional workstations requiring high-resolution wired video

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C male end to a host device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (for example a compatible laptop or tablet), then plug the DisplayPort male end into the monitor or projector. Ensure the display input is set to DisplayPort. No driver installation is required; the connection is recognized via plug & play. Actual achievable resolution and refresh rate depend on the capabilities of both the source device and the connected display.

Recommendations

For best results, use a host device that explicitly supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C and a DisplayPort-capable monitor. Verify cable length and routing to avoid sharp bends; confirm display settings and graphics driver support for target resolutions and HDR if required.
