Videokabel-adapter Helos 118881 10 m DisplayPort HDMI zwart

The Helos 118881 10 m DisplayPort to HDMI video cable adapter in black enables a direct connection between devices with a DisplayPort output and HDMI-equipped displays. With a 10 m cable length, it provides extended reach for connecting desktop PCs, laptops, or docking stations to monitors, HDTVs or projectors while carrying both video and audio signals where supported by the source device.

Advantages

This DisplayPort to HDMI adapter cable offers a long 10 m reach that reduces the need for additional extenders and allows flexible device placement. The single-cable design transmits digital video and, when supported by the source, audio signals to HDMI displays. The black outer jacket is designed for general-purpose use in home and office environments and simplifies cable routing and installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DisplayPort-equipped computer to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Linking laptops or docking stations with DisplayPort outputs to projectors for presentations
• Extending video connection distance in meeting rooms, classrooms, or home setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Connector A: DisplayPort
• Connector B: HDMI
• Colour: Black
• Signal type: Digital video (and audio when supported by source)

How to use

Plug the DisplayPort connector into the DisplayPort output of your computer or source device and connect the HDMI connector to the HDMI input of the display device. Power on both devices and select the correct HDMI input on the display. If the source device supports audio output over DisplayPort, the cable will carry audio to the HDMI display; adjust audio settings on the source if necessary. For best results, ensure connectors are fully inserted and avoid sharp bends near the ends of the cable.

Recommendations

Use this 10 m DisplayPort to HDMI cable for setups where a moderate cable length is required; avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances to reduce interference. If you need higher resolutions or specific HDR/refresh rate support, verify that both source and display devices support the desired modes before use.
