Viewsonic LS901-4K dataprojector standard-throw-projector 5500 ANSI-lumen UHD 4K (3840x2160) wit

The ViewSonic LS901-4K is a standard-throw 4K UHD projector from the Luminous Superior Series designed for large-venue installations. With 5,500 ANSI lumens, a 0.65” DMD chip using DLP technology and a high native contrast ratio, it produces detailed 4K imagery on screens larger than 100 inches. The projector supports HDR/HLG, 21:9 aspect ratio, portrait and 360° projection modes, and offers LAN control for integration into corporate environments. A 1.7x optical zoom, vertical lens shift and H/V keystone adjustment provide flexible placement options. The LS901-4K uses third-generation laser phosphor technology and provides up to 30,000 hours of light source life in eco mode, reducing maintenance for museums, education and business installations.

Advantages

The LS901-4K combines high brightness (5,500 ANSI lumens) and UHD 4K resolution to maintain clarity on very large screens while HDR/HLG support preserves color and detail. A 0.65” DMD DLP engine and a high native contrast ratio enhance image sharpness. Installation is simplified by 1.7x optical zoom, vertical lens shift and H/V keystone adjustments, plus portrait and 360° projection options. Third-generation laser phosphor light source extends operating life up to 30,000 hours, lowering total cost of ownership, and LAN control enables centralized management.

How to use

Position the projector at the appropriate throw distance for your desired screen size and use the 1.7x optical zoom to frame the image. Adjust vertical lens shift and H/V keystone to correct geometry without digital scaling where possible. Select portrait or 360° projection modes in the menu if required for specialized installations. Connect to a network via LAN for remote control and monitoring, and enable HDR/HLG in source devices to take advantage of expanded dynamic range.

Recommendations

For long-term reliable performance, operate the projector in eco mode where image brightness requirements allow, schedule periodic firmware updates and integrate LAN monitoring to track lamp hours and maintenance intervals.
