Visaton FRS 7 XWP 2,5 inch breedbandluidspreker 8 Ohm zwart

Small full-range drivers often struggle to deliver clear midrange and treble in compact enclosures, forcing builders to compromise on sound quality or add separate tweeters. The Visaton FRS 7 XWP 2.5 solves this by combining a lightweight polypropylene cone, rubber surround, and neodymium magnet into a single 2.5-inch driver that covers 180 Hz to 20 kHz with balanced tonality. Whether you are assembling a portable Bluetooth speaker, upgrading a kitchen radio, or designing a line array, this driver provides the clarity and efficiency needed for voice and music without complex crossovers.

Who is it for

DIY audio enthusiasts, custom speaker builders, and electronics hobbyists who need a compact, reliable full-range driver for small enclosures. It is also suitable for replacement in existing Visaton systems or for prototyping compact sound bars and desktop monitors.

Main features

• Full-range design eliminates the need for a tweeter in many applications
• Polypropylene cone with rubber surround for durability and smooth response
• Neodymium magnet keeps weight low while providing strong motor force

Tips

For best bass response, mount this driver in a sealed or vented enclosure with a volume of 0.5 to 1 litre. Use a baffle step compensation circuit if placing it on a narrow baffle. The solder tabs accept standard 2.8 mm quick-disconnect terminals if soldering is not preferred.
