The Westmark Steel Flat grater is a stainless steel kitchen tool with a 243mm height designed for efficient grating of cheese, vegetables, citrus zest and other food items. Its flat profile and stainless construction make it suitable for steady, controlled grating over bowls, cutting boards or directly onto plates. The simple form factor and corrosion-resistant material ensure reliable performance in everyday kitchen tasks.

Advantages

The stainless steel surface provides durable sharp edges that maintain performance during repeated use while resisting rust and staining. The flat shape is space-efficient and easy to store in drawers or hang from a rack. Its height offers a good working area for grating longer pieces and produces a consistent grate size. The design is straightforward, with no complex parts to clean or maintain.

Suitable for

• Grating hard and semi-hard cheeses
• Preparing vegetables for salads and garnishes
• Creating citrus zest for baking and seasoning
• Finishing dishes with finely grated ingredients

Key specifications

• Material: stainless steel
• Height: 243 mm
• Type: flat hand grater
• Finish: corrosion-resistant polished metal surface

How to use

Hold the flat grater steady against a bowl, cutting board or plate and move the food item across the grating surface with controlled, even strokes. For safety and best results, apply moderate pressure and keep fingers clear of the sharp edges. For citrus zest, grate only the colored outer peel and avoid the white pith. After use, rinse under running water to remove residues and dry thoroughly to maintain the stainless surface.

Recommendations

For prolonged sharpness and hygiene, wash the grater promptly after use, avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the edges, and store it in a dry place. Use protective gloves if grating small pieces to reduce the risk of fingertip contact with the grating surface.
