Vuilniswagen Lena TRUXX SM04514 veelkleurig voor kinderen vanaf 2 jaar

The Lena TRUXX SM04514 Multicolour garbage truck is a compact mechanical toy designed for children aged 2 and older. The model encourages role-play and basic mechanical interaction by imitating the functions of a real refuse truck. Its durable plastic construction and simple movable parts provide repeated handling and help develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills while supporting creative scenarios during playtime.

Advantages

This multicolour garbage truck features a robust, child-safe plastic body suitable for indoor and light outdoor play. The design includes easy-to-operate movable elements that simulate loading and unloading waste containers, enabling toddlers to practice coordinated movements. The bright, contrasting colours increase visual appeal for young children and make the toy easy to spot among other play items. Materials are chosen for impact resistance and easy cleaning to maintain hygiene.

Suitable for

• Role-play and imaginative play for toddlers and preschoolers
• Development of fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Group play in daycare or preschool settings
• Indoor playrooms and outdoor patios where durable toys are needed

Key specifications

• Recommended age: 2 years and up
• Material: durable, impact-resistant plastic
• Finish: multicolour paint and moulded coloured parts
• Primary functions: movable loading/unloading mechanism and rolling wheels
• Safety: rounded edges and child-safe components designed for toddler use

How to use

Place the truck on a flat surface and show the child how to push it to roll. Demonstrate the movable loading mechanism by lifting and lowering the rear compartment or simulated hopper, allowing the child to place small, age-appropriate items inside and then tip them out. Encourage supervised independent play and simple role-play scenarios such as collecting “trash” from a pretend neighbourhood. Regularly check moving parts for wear and remove any small items that could be a hazard.

Recommendations

Use under adult supervision for children under 3 years. Clean the truck with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid prolonged immersion in water. Store the toy in a dry place to preserve colours and moving parts. Combine with other Lena TRUXX toys or simple household props to extend imaginative play and support motor development.
