Walkie-talkie Stabo Freecomm 80 2-pack, model 20080, oplaadbaar, groot bereik

Stabo Freecomm 80 (model 20080) is a two‑unit rechargeable walkie‑talkie set designed for long‑range voice communication. Each handheld unit provides push‑to‑talk operation, integrated speaker and microphone, and a compact housing for portable use. The set is intended for situations where immediate, direct voice contact is needed without relying on mobile networks, offering a practical solution for event staff, outdoor groups and site teams.

Advantages

The Stabo Freecomm 80 set combines rechargeable operation with a two‑unit configuration to ensure continuous on‑site communication; swapping or recharging one unit while keeping the other in use is possible. Its handheld form factor and clear audio make it suitable for noisy environments and direct coordination. The long‑range capability extends typical line‑of‑sight communication, reducing the need for repeaters or additional infrastructure. Rechargeable batteries reduce operating costs compared with single‑use cells and support repeated daily use.

How to use

Charge both units before first use according to the included charging instructions. Turn on a unit, select the same channel on both devices and press the push‑to‑talk button to transmit voice messages; release the button to receive. Keep units within the effective range and maintain clear line‑of‑sight for best performance. Use the built‑in volume control and any available channel squelch settings to optimise clarity in noisy environments.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, charge batteries after each day of extended use and store units in a dry environment. Test channels and audio levels before starting coordinated tasks. When operating in dense urban or heavily wooded areas, expect reduced range and consider closer positioning of team members or alternative communication points.
