Wandgemonteerd ISDN-aansluitdoos ShiverPeaks 74220-4 1x8 4-voudig opbouw

ShiverPeaks 74220-4 is a surface-mount ISDN connection socket designed for termination and distribution of ISDN lines in small office or home environments. The unit accommodates one 1x8 module footprint and provides four ISDN ports, allowing multiple devices to connect to a single ISDN line. Constructed for wall or surface installation, the socket offers easy access to ISDN interfaces and straightforward cable routing for telephone or data network connections.

Advantages

The surface-mount design simplifies installation where in-wall mounting is not possible, and the compact 1x8 module footprint supports a tidy cabling arrangement. The four-port configuration enables multiple endpoints without additional adaptors, while the standardized ISDN interfaces ensure compatibility with common ISDN equipment. The unit's durable housing is intended to protect terminations and maintain stable connections over time.

Suitable for

• Small office or home ISDN telephone installations
• ISDN data terminal equipment connections
• Surface-mounted cabling where recessed mounting is impractical
• Wiring termination points for multi-station ISDN setups

Key specifications

• Form factor: surface-mount wall socket
• Module footprint: 1x8
• Number of ISDN ports: 4
• Intended use: termination/distribution of ISDN lines for telephone and data
• Installation: wall or surface-mounted
• Compatibility: standard ISDN interfaces for residential and small office equipment

How to use

Mount the socket on a suitable flat surface using appropriate screws and wall anchors for the substrate. Terminate incoming ISDN cabling to the designated connection points following local wiring standards and the equipment manufacturer’s wiring scheme. Connect terminal devices or distribution cabling to the four ISDN ports. Verify continuity and signal integrity after installation using standard ISDN test procedures.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install the socket in a dry, accessible location and avoid exposing the unit to direct moisture or excessive heat. Use adequately rated cables and connectors for ISDN signalling and follow local regulations for telecommunication installations. If in doubt, consult a qualified installer to ensure correct wiring and line configuration.
