Wandmontage-netwerkkast DIGITUS Dynamic-N 9HE 19 inch 600x600 mm, IP20, slot met sleutel, ongemonteerd

DIGITUS Dynamic-N wall-mounted network cabinet, 9U 19" rack capacity with a 600 x 600 mm footprint and IP20 protection, is designed to house networking and telecommunications equipment in server rooms, network closets and office environments. The enclosure features adjustable 19" profile rails at the front and rear, a lockable safety glass front door with steel frame, pre-punched cable entries and ventilation provisions. The cabinet is supplied unmounted to optimise transport and requires assembly and secure wall mounting; maximum static load is 60 kg.

Advantages

The closed steel construction with 1.0–1.2 mm sheet steel and electrostatic powder coating provides robust mechanical protection and a professional appearance. Adjustable, galvanized 19" rails marked with height units simplify mounting of patch panels and active devices. Pre-punched cable entries at the roof, rear and base together with ventilation slots and a roof cut-out for a fan module allow flexible cable management and both passive and active ventilation. A keyed front lock and removable side and back panels improve physical security and service access.

Suitable for

• Small server rooms and branch office racks for switches, patch panels and routers
• Network closets and IT closets in offices, retail or educational facilities
• Environments requiring a compact, wall-mounted 19" cabinet with moderate load capacity

When it may not be suitable

This cabinet has an IP20 rating and is intended for indoor, dust-protected environments; it is not designed for outdoor use or wet, highly dusty or corrosive locations. With a maximum load of 60 kg and 9U usable height, it may not be suitable where high-density server equipment, heavy UPS units or large storage arrays are required.

How to use

Unpack the flat-packed enclosure and follow the enclosed assembly instructions to attach panels and rails. Secure the supplied mounting plate to a suitable load-bearing wall, ensuring the wall fixings match the wall material and expected loads, then hang and fasten the cabinet housing to the plate. Install and adjust the 19" profile rails to the correct depth for your equipment, mount patch panels, switches or other devices and route cables through the pre-punched entries at the roof, rear or base. Use the ventilation slots and the roof fan mounting area if active cooling is required. Lock the front door with the supplied key to restrict access.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm that 9U rack height and 600 x 600 mm footprint meet your equipment size and depth requirements (installation depth standard maximum 369–470 mm).
• Verify the 60 kg maximum load is sufficient for planned devices and cabling.
• Ensure your installation environment is indoor and meets IP20 conditions (no exposure to water or heavy dust).
• Plan for assembly and wall-mounting: the product is delivered unmounted and requires proper wall fixings and installation time.

Recommendations

Place heavier equipment as low as possible inside the cabinet, distribute weight evenly across the mounting rails, secure cables with the cabinet's cable entry points and use the labelled rails to align devices. If additional cooling is needed, install a compatible fan element in the roof area and ensure adequate airflow through ventilation slots. Regularly check the door lock, earthing points and wall fixings to maintain safe operation.
