The DIGITUS Unique Series wall mounted rack DN-19 20U-6/6 is a 20U network cabinet designed for professional IT infrastructure. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm thick sheet steel with an electrostatic powder coating in grey (RAL 7035) or jet black (RAL 9005), the cabinet measures 600 x 600 mm, supports up to 100 kg and has an IP20 protection rating. It features a lockable safety-glass front door with steel frame, removable and lockable side panels, adjustable 483 mm (19") profile rails with unit markings readable in both directions, and pre-cut cable inlets in the roof, back wall and floor plate for flexible network cabling.

How to use

Mount the cabinet by first bolting the housing frame plate to the wall, then attaching the housing to the frame. Adjust the internal 19" profile rails to the required depth and secure equipment such as switches, patch panels and routers using standard rack screws. Route cables through the sliding roof cable inlet with foam seal or through the pre-cut inlets in the back wall and floor plate. If additional ventilation is required, install a fan module in the pre-cut roof area. To convert the unit to freestanding use, attach optional levelling feet or casters according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Recommendations

Install the rack on a solid load-bearing wall and ensure the total mounted equipment weight does not exceed the specified 100 kg. Use appropriate grounding and follow local regulations for cable management and ventilation to maintain IP20 conditions and safe operation.
